Brief Description (Abstract):

As a part of the High Altitude Cloud Physics Laboratory project, the 2DVD Video Disdrometer has deployed at Mahabaleshwar, a remote location in the complex terrain of the Western Ghats (WG). The 2DVD Video Disdrometer continuously provides the measurement of Rain Accumulation, Rain Rate, Oblateness, fall velocity of the droplet, 2D Image of rain drops, and Drop size distribution.
