Brief Description (Abstract):
To investigate the distribution of Suspended Particulate Matter(SPM) and to understand the source and processes operating within the Indian sector of the Southern Ocean representing the three zones i.e. Sub-Tropical, Sub-Antarctic and Antarctic zones.
Status: Ongoing
Purpose: The knowledge of the distribution of SPM is an important prerequisite for the description and prediction of the ecological conditions.
