Brief Description (Abstract):

As a part of the High Altitude Cloud Physics Laboratory project, the Nephelometer has deployed at Mahabaleshwar, a remote location in the complex terrain of the Western Ghats (WG) to understand the aerosol optical properties. The Nephelometer continuously provides the aerosol light scattering coefficient and it also provides information about aerosol size and concentration.

Purpose: To study the aerosol optical properties.
